About the TSHS
Application Process
Step #1
Prospective students are required to attend a one-hour, in-person information session on our campus with school representatives before they are permitted to apply to the Texas School of Health Sciences (TSHS).
Step #2
Prospective TSHS students who have attended the required in-person information session on our campus and wish to apply are required to attend an in-person application session on our campus where they will complete an application form with school representatives.
Important Notice
Application sessions for the Spring 2025 Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) cohort have ended.
Prospective students who wish to apply for the TSHS Fall 2026 ADN cohort can check the tshs-rgv.com website for updates on how to register and attend one of our monthly information sessions (required as a prerequisite for applying with the TSHS Fall 2026 ADN cohort).
Texas School of Health Sciences will host one (1) in-person information session per month between January 2025 and December 2025 for perspective students interested in applying with the Fall 2026 ADN cohort. All participants who would like to attend an information session will be required to register on our website (tshs-rgv.com). Registration links will be posted on the website no less than two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled date of each session.
Directions to the TSHS campus (located in the Knapp Medical Center Conference Center) will be emailed to prospective students following successful registration.
