Tuition
Forgiveness

Students who enroll in the TSHS program are eligible for “tuition forgiveness” through the TSHS Tuition Forgiveness Agreement. This means that there is no obligation to pay tuition while you are a student in good standing in the program.

Students who do not complete the program, or who fail to pass the NCLEX on the first or second attempt within four months of completing the program, will be obligated to repay a portion of the $15,000 tuition based upon the number of credits enrolled in/completed at the time of their departure.

Students who successfully graduate and pass the NCLEX-RN on the first or second attempt within four months of graduation are guaranteed employment at one of the three Prime RGV hospitals. Our Tuition Forgiveness Agreement will waive all tuition fees ($15,000) for students who remain employed at the hospital where they were hired for a minimum of 36 months. If employment is terminated prior to the end of the 36-month period, either voluntarily by the student or by the hospital for performance reasons, the student is required to pay a pro-rated amount of the $15,000 tuition based on the number of months employed.

Prior to beginning the program each student is required to sign a Tuition Forgiveness Agreement that sets forth the terms of the tuition forgiveness and potential repayment.
